Paul Giacomantonio
Paul Giacomantonio has lived and worked in Africa, Mexico, Borneo, Canada, Hawaii, and the United States over the past 35 years. His work has been primarily been centered on building and teaching construction in rural villages and communities as well as working as a Masonry contractor in the San Francisco bay area for 25 years.
Throughout the years he has been combining the arts, sciences and humanities to create new and unique design solutions for various health, architecture, and humanitarian issues.
Today, Paul’s work has led him to the co-founding of "Inka Biospheric Systems", the art of living in balance with the Earth’s Biosphere.
David Bealby
David Bealby provides business guidance for Inka Biospheric Systems. For two years prior to this position, he was Executive Vice President of INBAC, and international business accelerator providing expertise and support to small Finnish start-ups. For two years before that he was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Syncronnect, a small software as a service company. For three years prior to that Bealby was the Vice President for the Telecommunications Business in the NonStop Server Division. In this role he has world wide responsibility for driving the growth of all of the NonStop products and solutions into the Network Service Provider market. This involves developing leveraged programs across HP’s total solutions offerings and driving selected solution initiatives.
Prior to this position he was Vice President and General Manager of Compaq Telecom, Compaq Computer Corporation, an 800 person organization, where he had responsibility for driving the growth of Compaq’s telecommunication and high-end server businesses, achieving operational and revenue objectives. Bealby’s responsibilities include enhancing and maintaining focused programs for telecommunication platforms, solutions and integration services, marketing & business development, business operations & finance, and execution of the programs in Compaq’s regional competency centers.
Franklin Fernandez
Franklin Fernandez is an electrical engineer who was born in El Salvador, he specializes in high voltage transmission systems.
Franklin Electric has been in the business for 10 years and has done numerous projects in the Bay Area in both commercial and residential systems mostly focused around green technology installations.
Doug Millar
Doug Millar is a horticulture graduate from Ohio State University with over 15 years of experience growing plants and designing specialized growing systems. His designs have been installed in commercial, institutional, research and residential projects.
These sophisticated systems include environment control systems and equipment, nutrient management systems, reverse osmosis, organic gardening methods and practices, aquaponic and hydroponic systems, supplemental lighting, and biofiltration systems.
Vera Templeman
Vera Templeman provides photography and graphics design capability for Inka Biospheric Systems. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, her photography career began 16 years ago after attending Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. Soon after she worked with the Venice Arts Mecca, teaching all aspects of b/w 35mm photography to inner city youth of Los Angeles. She developed an independent freelance business in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and displayed her work in various galleries.
Vera has been working with Paul Giacomantonio as a builder and mosaic artist for 9 years, predominantly building ponds and ecosystems. She is currently developing of Inka's Green Lab, located in the Loma Prieta Mt. area in Santa Clara County. The Green Lab is a solar and wind powered sustainable laboratory. It's purpose is for the development of a closed loop system, consisting of aquaponic food growing, water purification, and housing, for third world applications.
Scott West
Scott West is a fourth generation San Franciscan. He has spent the last thirty years involved in the many aspects of residential and commercial building. After eight years of home development on the central Coast, he returned to San Francisco to work as a supervisor for small but respected construction company and grew with it from 10 to 50 employees.
He embarked on a new career in property management and project supervision for a San Francisco family. His responsibilities and interests have expanded beyond construction and encompass new fields, one of which is the exciting and innovative INKA Biospheric Systems.
Chris Whitney
Chris Whitney is a fifth generation Californian raised in San Francisco. His career started in the mid 80’s in the restoration of stone buildings and antique stone fireplaces. In late 80’s and early 90’s he transitioned into high-end residential stonework acting as the shop foreman for a prominent San Francisco stone shop. In his tenure at the stone shop he saw the need to provide customers with metal bases for their remnant pieces of stone. This led to a long line of stone and steel furniture shown in galleries and placed in high-end residences throughout the bay area.
This combined experience led to the inception of Object Assembly in 1995. Object Assembly over the past 14 years has provided high-end fabrication, engineering and design work for architects, designers, contractors and artists alike.
Today Chris Whitney and Object Assembly provide the primary hub of research and fabrication for INKA Biospheric Systems, the focal point for the INKA team to converge and create innovative solutions for an increasing population.
